Upon arrival in Sri Lanka, one of our representatives will meet with you and assist you to your own personal chauffeur who will take you to Kandy, a town filled with religious and cultural significance to the islands great history. Upon check in at your hotel, you are able to rest, relax and recover from any jet lag. If you have some extra time on your hands, you may also be able to undertake a city tour of Kandy with your personal chauffeur.

After breakfast and head for the fortress of Sigiriya. This is the creation of King Kashyapa who reigned around 5th century. Once you have crossed the moat protecting the ancient city complex, you will see the gardens and ponds which provide serene picturesque surroundings to the rock fortress. Sigirya is a prime example of the ingenuity of those who came before us. Even today, scientists and engineers are amazed at how Sigiriya was created. For those with more aesthetic taste, Sigiriya delivers in this aspect too. The Sigiri Apsaras (the nymphs of Sigirya) are a must see and draws thousands of visitors to the iconic destination. The writings on the Ketapath Pawura (Mirror wall), evidence the range of feelings that previous visitors over the centuries have felt on their visits here.

Afterwards you will leave for Habarana. Spend the rest of the day appreciating the luscious surroundings of your accommodation.

After breakfast embark for your next destination, Trincomalee. Here you are able to enjoy swimming, wind surfing, scuba diving, fishing and whale watching. Otherwise follow the locals on their pilgrimage to religious sites and visit the Thirukoneswaram Temple or the Southern Kailasam which was built by sage Agastiyar under the instructions of Lord Shiva.

You will then head down the east coast of Sri Lanka and stop over at Arugam Bay. Counted within the top ten surfing locations in the world, Arugam Bay becomes populated during the surfing season (April to October) by professional surfers and the like who are keen to ride the perfect wave.

Spend the day leisurely undertaking water activities. You may even wish to learn how to surf like a pro.

After breakfast head for Yala. Here you will go on a jeep safari within Yala National Park. Keep your eyes and ears open, and if you are lucky you will be able to see a range of animals and birds within their natural habitats.

Enjoy your breakfast and leave for another idyllic fishing village located in Negambo. Choose to relax or get your chauffeur to give you a personalised city tour around the town or choose to indulge in some shopping.
